What time do you usually wake up on weekdays?
Night Owl, however, I find it changing a bit depending on working schedules and requirements.
How do you spend the first hour of your day?
At the opening of my eye – a short meditation and set the tone but journalling – at the office, I catch up on emails while sipping a cup of coffee, noting the schedule of the day.
What sparked your interest in finance?
I’ll admit, this career path wasn’t initially on my radar. However, when I received my matric results, something shifted. The scores not only exceeded my expectations but also revealed a hidden talent and aptitude for this field. That moment sparked a curiosity that has since grown into a full-fledged passion, guiding me toward a fulfilling career.
Can you share some career highlights and defining moments?
The mere fact that I can create awareness and by doing I remove the fear of SARS. I am able to ensure compliance and sustainability with clients and personally.
How do you handle professional challenges?
Education is Key. Helping others overcome their fears and understand SARS has become my passion. By sharing knowledge and expertise, I enable clients and communities to navigate complexities, achieve compliance, and build resilience – a truly fulfilling experience.
What future goals are you excited about?
Seeking challenging roles in finance and compliance, I’m eager to collaborate with forward-thinking clients across the country. With adaptability and a results-driven mindset, I’m committed to fostering long-term growth, sustainability, and success for businesses.

A great sense of understanding of the industry in which you are working.
How do you balance your personal and professional life?
As a seasoned CFO, I’ve learned that success hinges on consistency, focus, and teamwork. By surrounding myself with talented professionals and staying adaptable, I’ve navigated complex financial landscapes and driven growth, whilst taking the work-life balance into account without compromising. Continuously refining my approach, I prioritize effective communication, strategic thinking, and informed decision-making to excel to the best of my ability in both arenas in my life. Saying No most of the time helps and creates boundaries.
What are your interests outside of work?
When I’m not working, you’ll find me lost in a book or soaking up the sun on a scenic getaway. The great outdoors is my happy place – were life’s simplicity shines brightest

Fun Fact. This field or career was not my first choice. I have an NPO that caters for the needs of the aged and teenagers battling the disease of depression.

This is defined as my go-to relaxation spot. Any clothing app! Browsing through the latest trends helps me unwind.
If you could have any superpower to help you in your job, what would it be?
To be in more than 1 place at a time. Yeah, mind reading is a good one too
What’s your go-to strategy for staying productive during long workdays?
Finding balance is a delicate dance. Yet, by prioritizing self-care and staying focused on my goals, I’m able to tap into my inner strength and unlock my highest potential and taking a moment to pray, prayer calms my mind.

Among countless rewarding experiences, one day stands out – the day I earned my professional registration. It symbolized years of perseverance, learning, and growth, and marked a turning point in my career
